Get excited for your best summer ever with Hilltop’s Mountain Shredders mountain bike summer camp ages 8-14. Our week-long day camps, from June 09 - Aug 8, offer mountain bike specific instruction mixed with summer camp activities including outdoor learning, stewardship, nature hikes, field games and arts & crafts. Drop your campers off in the morning ready to bike, explore, learn, and play. Pick them up in the evening tired but excited for the next day’s camp.
You may enroll your camper in multiple sessions! Camp registration comes with a day pass for each day. Purchase 3 week-long sessions or two weeks of Gravity Camp and get a bike park season pass!
9 am. – 4:30 pm. With early drop off option at 8 am and late pick up 5:30 pm
Here's a breakdown of what participants can expect each day:
- Drop off: Start of the day where participants arrive at the camp.
- Bike check, safety check, and warm-up games: Ensuring that all bikes are in good condition, conducting safety checks, and engaging in fun warm-up activities.
- Pump track: Time dedicated to practicing skills on a pump track, which helps improve balance and bike handling skills.
- Riding skills: Instruction and practice sessions focused on improving biking techniques on different terrains.
- Free choice: Participants can choose from various activities like spending time on the pump track, engaging in arts and crafts, playing games, etc.
- Lunch time: Break for lunch to refuel and recharge.
- Maintenance tips: Learning about simple bike maintenance to ensure bikes remain in safe and good condition.
- Nature Hike: Exploring nature and the areas surrounding Hilltop on foot, providing a break from biking activities.
- Single track riding: Riding and exploring the local trails surrounding the Hilltop Bike Park area.
- Field and bike games: Fun games and activities, incorporating bikes and outdoor space.
- Lift access mountain bike coaching in the Hilltop Bike Park when lifts are running: Specialized coaching sessions with Hilltop's professional bike coaches held in the Hilltop Bike Park, utilizing the park's features and facilities.
This schedule offers a balance of skill-building, outdoor exploration, and fun activities, ensuring participants have a rewarding and enjoyable camp experience.
